It's not a waterpark right now.  Unveiling an immersive collision of the living and the undead, welcome to the heart-pounding extravaganza of ZOMBIEzi Bay – Central Ohio’s ultimate Halloween experience! This is not your typical scare-fest…It’s filled with zombies

From the relentless "stalkers" who'd give marathon runners a run for their money, to the unexpectedly graceful "dancers" whose moves might outdo your favorite TikTokers, and not forgetting the hilariously clumsy "shufflers" that could give slapstick comedians a lesson or two – every zombie at ZOMBIEzi Bay boasts a unique persona.

The scariest zombie ever

So, if you're up for a blend of adrenaline and amusement, stick around as we peel back the curtain on the world of the zombie quirks and traits at ZOMBIEzi Bay.

  1. Eternal Hunger: Zombies never need to worry about overindulging on ZOMBIEzi Bay’s cuisine, like Frankenstein Fried Pickles! These undead creatures are fueled by an insatiable hunger for human flesh. They'll stop at nothing to satisfy their gnawing craving, making them the ultimate nightmare for anyone crossing their path.
  2. Mindless Motion: Zombies aren't just terrifying—they've got some surprisingly groovy moves! Despite their decaying bodies, zombies seem to have an uncanny ability to bust out moves and noises that are both eerie and strangely entertaining. Just don't let them distract you from the impending danger at ZOMBIEzi Bay.
  3. Decomposition Vibes: Forget about fancy hairdos and fashion trends. Zombies are the ultimate proponents of a "natural" look, as their decaying flesh and disheveled appearance become an iconic part of their horrifying charm. It's as if they've turned decomposition into an art form!
  4. Zombie Networking: Who said zombies don't have a sense of community? These undead beings are known to form groups, or "hordes," that roam together in search of their next meal. So, if you encounter one zombie, chances are there are many more lurking nearby, ready to join the sinister party.
  5. Ageless Nightmares: Zombies don't discriminate when it comes to age. From the elderly to the young, anyone unfortunate enough to cross paths with a zombie could end up joining their ranks. This chilling fact means that the terrors of a zombie outbreak know no bounds, adding an extra layer of horror to the Halloween atmosphere. That said, we don’t suggest guests under 13 visit ZOMBIEzi Bay.  It’s just THAT scary.

Zombies creeping towards you

So, you’ve decided you’re brave enough to visit ZOMBIEzi Bay. How do you interact with the terrifying zombies you’ll see?

  • The zombies, sometimes referred to as “scare actors”, won’t touch you.  Please, don’t touch them. We can’t guarantee you won’t turn into one, too.
  • Guests who taunt, touch, or yell at the zombies, or other guests, may be asked to leave ZOMBIEzi Bay without refund, and that’s no fun.
  • Zombies wander the water park…not just in the haunt zones. If you don’t want them to approach you outside of the scare zones, ask park team members for a No Scare Necklace.
  • While you’re in the scare zones, leave your phones in your pockets. Zombies don’t like having their video or photo taken.  Plus, it makes it hard for them to see (dead eyes and everything…).
  • While the food options and custom drinks will be worth the visit just by themselves, please don’t take them into the scare zones and haunted houses.
  • Even zombies love safety.  If the weather isn’t permitting a certain scare zone to be open, we’ll let you know that we’ve temporarily closed it.

As you head to ZOMBIEzi Bay, keep in mind that beyond the forthcoming scares and screams, it will be the captivating diversity of zombie personalities that will truly set this Halloween adventure apart. From the menacing to the comical, these undead personas will remind all of us that even in the midst of horror, there will be room for both spine-tingling fear and unexpected delight.
