Columbus Zoo and Jack Hanna to Grant Wish Childs Wish

Powell, OH— Eleven-year-old Anna of Westbrook, Connecticut is battling cystic fibrosis. Her heartfelt wish to be a zookeeper with Jack Hanna will come true this Friday, December 14 at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium with the help of Make-A-Wish®.
Anna wished to be a zookeeper because of her love for animals. Meeting Jack Hanna will give Anna the opportunity of a lifetime to talk with a world renowned expert and someone who shares her passion for animals.
Media will have the opportunity to join Anna and Jack Hanna for a portion of her tour the Zoo.

Anna’s wish is being granted on National Believe Day. In celebration of National Believe Day, Macy’s and Make-A-Wish grant extra wishes across the country to create a day of “Wishes Across America” for children with life-threatening medical conditions. In addition to granting Anna’s wish in Columbus, more than 60 wishes will be granted in states across the country.
