By adopting an animal, you are helping the Zoo offset its current annual food bill, which is more than $650,000.
 
Check out our ADOPT specials and help support animal enrichment. In the Wild, animals must constantly think and solve problems in order to survive and thrive. Since our animals do not face these challenges, our keepers are always developing unique and fun activities to engage their minds. By adopting one of our specials you can support the Zoo’s enrichment program. $5 from each of the ADOPT specials will be donated to the Jean Dixon Animal Enrichment Fund which provides our keepers with funding to continue developing the animal enrichment program.

ADOPT
  • The minimum donation to sponsor an animal is $35.
  • Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing.
  • Animal adoptions are tax-deductible.
  • All adoptions are valid for one year.
  • Multiple people can adopt the same animal. It's a big food bill!
  • Animals are living creatures. Your animal will stay at the Zoo under the expert care of our keepers.
  • The animal collection is subject to change and occasionally animals may be transferred to another zoo or die. If something happens to your animal, your adoption will be transferred to another animal for the remainder of your adoption.
  • No ownership rights are conferred by this adoption.
