The Asia Quest Aviary...More than just birds!
Note: The Aviary will remain closed to guests to protect the species inside from a current bird flu pandemic. However, team members will be nearby to help you identify birds from the pathway viewing window.
The Asia Quest aviary is home to nearly 10 species of birds as well as Reeve’s muntjac deer and Burmese mountain tortoises.
The azure-winged magpies are the most intelligent birds in the aviary. Like their cousins, the crows and the ravens, they are good problem solvers. The Reeves pheasant and smew are also very smart and are both scale and crate-trained.
