What is an Overnight Experience?
Our Overnight Experiences give guests a unique look at the Zoo after hours. Whether you're exploring under the stars, learning about conservation through hands-on activities, or waking up to the sounds of animals starting their day, this program is packed with unforgettable moments.
Who Can Participate?
This program is perfect for families, scout troops, school groups, and community organizations looking for a wild way to learn and bond. Participants must be at least 6 years old, and each program is tailored for different age groups to ensure a fun and engaging experience for everyone.
When Can You Join?
Overnight Experiences are available every Friday and Saturday from March through December, except on certain holiday weekends and during major Zoo events. The adventure begins at 6:45 PM and wraps up the next morning at 10:00 AM.
What’s Included in Your Overnight Stay?
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be immersed in the Zoo like never before! Here’s what you can expect:
- A Guided Evening Tour – Explore a selected region of the Zoo based on the program’s theme, led by our expert Program Instructors.
- Interactive Activities & Crafts – Get hands-on with engaging activities designed to teach kids about animals, ecosystems, and conservation.
- A Tasty Snack – Refuel with an evening snack before bedtime!
- Sleeping in the Zoo! – Groups will have a private sleeping area with cozy sleeping mats.
- A Morning Hike with Animal Care Focus – Wake up early to see the Zoo come alive and discover how our dedicated animal care teams start their day.
