For generations, guests at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium have explored our North America region, a space filled with incredible wildlife that calls this part of the world home. Now, we’re excited to introduce a completely reimagined experience: North America Trek, opening in Summer 2025!

A New Adventure Awaits

North America Trek is more than just a refresh—it’s a complete transformation designed to immerse guests in the beauty and wonder of North American wildlife. As you wander through the new region, you’ll discover river otters playfully swimming, black bears exploring their spacious habitat, bald eagles soaring overhead, and Mexican wolves roaming an incredible new habitat. The thoughtful design of this space creates an up-close experience with these incredible animals, inspiring curiosity and a deeper connection to the natural world.
