Lead Zipline Tours at the Wilds
Soar through the sky as you guide guests on an aerial adventure of The Wilds! As a zipline tour guide you are responsible for the safety and enjoyment of our many guest who choose to tour the wilds from the air. Gear up the guests, teach them the basics, and spend the day interacting and bonding with guests to help them connect with wildlife in this unique way. Applicants must be 18 or older.
Animal Care at the Columbus Zoo
No two days are alike in this exciting role! You’ll work in support of the animals in our care with ever-changing tasks like prepping their meals, building enrichment activities, and cleaning habitats.
Become a Columbus Zoo Camp Inclusion Specialist
Perfect for the college student with at least two years of classwork in Education, Special Education or a related field (or someone with a degree!), the Camp Inclusion Specialist ensures that the Columbus Zoo Summer Camp program provides an exciting, engaging, and fun experience for all learners, while also supporting year round educators and seasonal staff with the integration and development of participants with disablities.

You’ll work in several locations throughout the park…at the lazy river, at the top of slides, over the wave pool, and more! The best part is…we provide ALL training and no prior experience is required.

The Zoo provides the adventure, Zoombezi Bay provides the relaxation, and our rides provide the THRILLS! From our historic carousel, to our Dinosaur Island boat ride, to our 4D Movie Theater, you can help create guest memories by working with our Rides and Attractions team.
Become a Counselor at the Wildest Camp Around!
WildeCamp counselors have equal interests in education AND adventure. During this week-long residential camp experience, counselors live on-site and work as a team to take care of campers. You’ll teach, lead outdoor activities like swimming, fishing, canoeing and hiking…and create fun memories for campers (and yourself too).
Step Up Your Resume as a ZooAide.
This program is comprised of teens who demonstrate natural leadership skills, a comprehensive knowledge of animals, and a high degree of professionalism and emotional maturity. Designed for teens entering grades 8-12, the ZooAide volunteer program offers a unique look at the different aspects available to those interested in pursuing opportunities in a conservation field. Instead of a seasonal job, think of it as an in-depth internship with animal experts (great for any college resume). Hurry, the deadline to apply is March 31, 2024.
