New Elephant Yard

The elephants will have more areas to explore! You'll see work being done in the "front yard" across from Wild Burger and Conservation Lake, including the removal of fencing and rockwork. In the meantime, all elephants can still be seen both in their indoor and outdoor habitats. Construction will conclude in October 2024.

North America TreK update

Take a peek through the walkway fence windows during your stroll in our North America region...you'll see progress in motion! We're working on several habitat redevelopments at the same time, including new spaces for bald eagles, black bears, river otters, and Mexican wolves. With the exception of bald eagles, guests are still able to enjoy viewing all of these species during the renovations.

with the exception of bald eagles, all animals that call the region "home" are still viewable. Visit the North America region page for even more information!
