Here’s some Zoo history for you:
This year marks 35 years of Wildlights!
When this tradition started, there were only 120,000 glowing lights, fiber optics and neon displays around Conservation Lake. We’ve come a long way! Today, there are millions of LED lights around the Zoo, hand-strung by employees and volunteers.
Let’s face it, hibernating for the winter sounds wonderful! But getting active outdoors is a great way to beat the winter blues – and connect with the people you love. Some activities to check out with your sweetheart, family or friends include ice skating, skiing, snow tubing, or head out for a winter hike! You’ll get your heart pumping with those close to your heart.
