Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Welcomes New Board Members

POWELL, Ohio – The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is pleased to announce the appointment of new members to its Board of Directors. These individuals bring a wealth of leadership experience and expertise that will help guide the Zoo’s mission of Empowering People. Saving Wildlife. through its wildlife conservation, education, and community engagement initiatives.

The new members named to the Columbus Zoo Board of Directors in 2024 are:

  • Chris Boynton – Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Battelle
  • Teri Caulin-Glaser, MD – Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer, OhioHealth

New Board Leadership for 2025-2026

Alongside the new members, the Columbus Zoo Board has also elected new leadership for the 2025-2026 term:

  • Chairperson: Dan Gusty, Johnson Investment Counsel
  • Vice Chairperson: John H. McConnell II, Worthington Industries
  • Secretary: Adriana Hastings, Huntington National Bank
  • Treasurer: Brent Jackson, Fifth Third Bank
  • Immediate Past Chairperson: Katie Wolfe Lloyd, The Dispatch Printing Company

Their expertise and dedication to our community will be invaluable as we continue advancing our mission of empowering people and saving wildlife. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, with a 19-member Board of Directors. The Board plays a crucial role in guiding the organization's strategic direction, ensuring financial stability, and supporting initiatives that align with the Zoo's mission. Their leadership and governance help maintain the Zoo's status as a national and international leader in conservation, education, and animal care.
