POWELL, Ohio – Hop along to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium on April 19 and 20 for plenty of springtime fun at Eggs, Paws and Claws – an annual spring tradition in Central Ohio. As part of the fun, the Zoo will offer “egg-citing” activities for both families and animals from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day, including:

• Special photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny: Meet the Easter Bunny and capture a special moment to cherish as a family. The Easter Bunny will be posing with friends in the Conservation Courtyard all day (additional fees for photo packages apply).
• Aqua Bunny: Here comes Peter Cottontail, swimming down the coral trail! Watch as our version of this famous hare takes to the 100,000 gallons of water in Discovery Reef to deliver special springtime treats to his aquatic friends at 1 p.m. each day.
• Character Meet and Greets: Hop over to the Conservation Courtyard to say “hello” to some of your favorite feathered or fluffy friends, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Red from Angry Birds, Chuck from Angry Birds, Miffy, Peter Cottontail, Energizer Bunny and Bunnicula.
• Books and Bunnies Story Time: Join our friends from the Columbus Metropolitan Library for story time featuring some of your favorite bunny “tails” at the Conservation Courtyard Lake Overlook each day at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• Surfin’ Safari Show Training Sessions: Located at the Surfin’ Safari Stage at Lakeside Pavilion, join the stars of this summertime animal show as they practice for the upcoming season. Shows will take place on April 19 and 20 at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
• Eggbert’s Rolling Shell-A-Bration, presented by Donatos: Get ready to bust a move as your favorite characters roll through the Zoo during this musical celebration on wheels. This mobile party also features our newest event ambassadors – Eggbert, Shelly, Yolko and Oh-No! Rolling Egg Shell-A-Brations will take place each day at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting.
• Egg-Splore-N-Find: Join us on a scavenger hunt around the Zoo! Find each of the hidden eggs in the regions of the Zoo to collect special stickers. Once you’ve collected all of the stickers, turn in your map at the Conservation Courtyard for your chance to win special prizes.
• Egg Hunt for our Animals Enrichment: The fun doesn’t stop with Zoo guests! Animal care staff will provide the animals at select habitats with special springtime themed enrichment for the animals to enjoy. The Egg Hunt animal enrichment schedule is as follows:
