Powell, OH – Due to forecasted high temperatures in the low-50s and a significant chance of rain, Zoombezi Bay will be closed on Saturday, May 29. Zoombezi Bay will open as scheduled on Sunday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m.

All day tickets purchased for Saturday, May 29 have been converted to tickets that are valid any day. Guests may now use these tickets without a reservation, on any valid Zoombezi Bay operating day in 2021, including Summer Nights (excludes buyouts and special ticketed events). No action is required by the ticket holder – these tickets have already been converted for guests’ convenience.

All guests with cabana or premium lounger reservations for May 29 will receive automatic refunds on their purchase and will see a credit of the full amount of their rental back to the original card of purchase within 5-7 business days.

If guests had a reservation to update their photo at the Season Pass entrance, that has also been canceled and they are encouraged to reschedule for another day.

All Gold Members and Zoombezi Bay Season Pass holder reservations have been automatically converted to Zoo reservations for the day. Guest are encouraged to bring an umbrella and visit the incredible animals instead! If guests do not wish to visit the Zoo, they do not need to call and cancel their reservation.

The Zoombezi Bay team appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding with this unforeseen change in the Central Ohio weather forecast and look forward to welcoming everyone back on a warmer day!
