Zoo School

The Columbus Zoo has partnered with the Delaware Area Career Center to bring you our Zoo School program, offered to high school juniors and seniors! They'll receive hands-on experience with zoology, research, and technology, providing a deeper understanding of science in action.

  • Students earn high school credits in science, math, and an elective, with the opportunity to gain college credits as well.
  • Designed for motivated, curious, and responsible learners, the program fosters high-quality work and practical skill development.
  • Participants spend 2.5 hours each school day at the Zoo, immersing themselves in real-world applications of science.
